Laureal Foundation Spiritual guidance Program

What about Spiritual guidance ?

The disciples of Jesus were nowhere near perfect people, they were ordinary individuals with their own strengths and weaknesses chosen by Christ to be his followers and to help him spread the gospel. The Bible described them as people with various personalities, backgrounds and some with questionable characters. Mathew for example was a tax collector and some considered him an outcast, Thomas was a skeptic and even doubted the resurrection of Jesus. These were people that were willing to leave their old lives behind to follow Him. Despite their flaws and mistakes, Jesus still chose them as his disciples. These are testament that He can use anyone regardless of their shortcomings.

Our aim at the Laureal Foundation is to provide discipleship programs to people who obviously are not perfect but wish to leave their old ways and live a life that pleases God. The goal is for people to have an encounter with Christ and continually have a personal relationship with Him. Also, it is to make Christians Christ-like which will be reflective of His character and to live a life that honors God.

The teachings from our spiritual leaders follow biblical principles to make the people devoted Christians and give them spiritual guidance. Some of our schedules includes: baptism, weekly bible study and application, mentorship, community and house fellowship with other believers just to mention a few.

One of our major discipleship programs is evangelism, which happens biweekly by our members in Nigeria, Cameroon and Ghana, who go to various communities in their vicinity to preach the gospel and to also win souls. They also share the gospel in prisons once every quarter. That in turn has helped lead people to the Lord and we now have a total of 34 converts, and over 100 members (both adults and children) across the three West African countries.

In addition, The Foundation also assists the elderly with certain basic needs while still offering spiritual guidance. Since its inception, at least 40 elderly people have been assisted through several means both materially and spiritually. Occasionally, workshops are carried out to preach the word, have social interaction and teaching them about healthy aging. Also, basic needs like food, medication and clothing are been provided for them.

Furthermore, children and young adults are not left out of our discipleship programs. At the Foundation we try to mentor them and protect them from social vices especially those in communities where they are exposed to crimes, violence, drug addiction, fraud, to cite a few. We make them understand the dangers if they get themselves involved in such negative acts and in line we give them spiritual guidance to help them abstain from it.

There are still many lives out there that need spiritual guidance, mentoring and care and that propels us to do more. Join us at Laureal Foundation to continually transform and impacts lives of as many as possible; your donations and contributions will go a long way to reach out to more people
